I do have one question though, why was there no TV series for Beano and Dandy, I do know there's 2 Dennis cartoon series, a Bananaman cartoon and 2 Beano videos/DVDs, but no animated series where the characters could be shown meeting with each other, they could even do a Beano and Dandy crossover.
I've got all my Beanos still, in about 6 large archive boxes (and still with their gifts on the covers - I never wanted that plastic tat anyway) up in the attic; they date all the way back to late '86 (when I was just 4).
And I totally agree about the alterations that have been made to Dennis in the last few years, the BBC are pretty much to blame for that piece of $#!@.
Is Dennis your favourite Beano character? Mine would be Ivy the Terrible.
