Nobody cares like a bear

As the song says, "Nobody cares like a bear!". A Care Bear, that is.

Just one small part of a whole bunch of commissions I made to =shadowoflight01 a few months back, this cute girl is from the Care Bears Movie.

Well okay, she didn't look like this in the Movie, but that's because Xen has drawn her here in a more anime style - before anyone complains that the character doesn't look like she should.

Kim, and her brother Jason, meet the Care Bears at the very start of the film, and are shown that although some people who care will leave you (they're living in an orphanage at the time), you'll always have friends. They go on to help the Bears to save the world from the Evil Spirit in the Evil Spell-book.

A couple of other liberties were taken with her design, aside from getting animed-up. Her sweater bears the tummy symbol for Friend Bear, and she's wearing a locket that could've been given to her by Secret Bear. (Friend/Secret Bear shipping FTW! XD)
