I squee'd so hard when I got this piccy in the email the other day. :squee: Really, I let out a huge long "squeeeee!" when I saw it, it's just so cute and they're both so pretty! :squee:

Latest in my long line of commissions that I've placed to :iconxenokurisu: =xenokurisu, I asked her to draw me Lisa and Maggie Simpson according to more-humanistic designs I had done of them aaaaages ago.

I think it would be so cool if Maggie was older, and able to interact with the other family members more easily. Also it would be good for Lisa to have a little sister she could actually relate to, then maybe she'd feel less alone and be generally happier. And the two of them could gang up on Bart and put a stop to the worst of his pranks. :P

Hence, in my idea Maggie is 7, just a year younger than her sister. And she thinks Martin Prince is cute (but he's too busy being the school swot to notice).

Maggie isn't missing her pearls, unlike Lisa she wears them as a cute little anklet. :)

They'd both just like to say "HI!" to you! :wave:

I've seen some art styles that look good with the Simpsons, and some...not so good. This one works very well for my versions of Lisa and Maggie though, so thanks. ^_^
