I've just started watching the new My Little Pony series, Friendship is Magic, which is very cute and fun, but also totally different from the original. Not least in the fact that the original series had the Ponies interacting with humans.

This is Megan, and she was the closest friend of the My Little Ponies in the original series that ran in the 80s; however in the 90s series My Little Pony Tales and in the current new series, there are no people at all. Megan also had two younger siblings, Danny and Molly. And more importantly, the Ponies had entrusted Megan to be the guardian of some powerful Pony-magic, the Rainbow of Light (which is kept in that locket she's wearing).

Deviation title was taken from one of the songs in the MLP Movie. Megan's appearance has been altered slightly by Xen-chan to fit her anime-style.
