Speed: High. Full gallop - 30mph. Cruising horizontal airspeed - 60mph. Maximum horizontal airspeed - 80mph. Nosedive velocity - 170mph.

Stamina: Good (on ground) / great (in the air).

Maximum altitude: 47,500 feet (about 9 miles) - large lung capacity.

Compared to the various types of humanoids on the world of Centorus, Centaurs are a whole different matter, being both significantly taller and broader, with much greater body mass and needing a far greater area of land to live on. Fortunately, Centorus is a world with lots of arable land to go around for everybody.

At 7ft 2ins tall, Windrunner is a fairly typical height for a Centaurine girl of her age and build. Born to a winged centaur father and an "earth centaur" mother (ie with neither wings nor horn), Windrunner inherited her father's white coat and her mother's white dappling, giving her a coat almost as white as the driven snow. She has also inherited her father's love of fixing things, and her mother's very caring nature, leading together to a deep interest in studying medicine and a desire to become a nurse. She did consider a doctor or a surgeon, but is a bit squeamish at the sight of lots of blood, and would also prefer to treat the patient than the problem.

Winni is currently in a bit of a "gangly teenage" phase, as she recently had a bit of a growth spurt while her body is still fairly thin and she is mostly flat-chested (like Leana actually - they're close in age). This does make her quite a good runner though, and she is completely at ease up in the air too - a fact that constantly worries her mom, Stargazer, who being unable to fly cannot go up with her and so frets about her safety. No need to worry though mom, as dad Stormchaser can fly and find Winni wherever she may go. Although to be honest, Winni has recently found two new excellent reasons to stay closer to the ground on a regular basis...

You see, it's at this time in her teen years that Windrunner has just fallen in love for the first time! And the second time! Actually, the two times are related - literally. For you see, Windrunner is in love with a horned centaur boy called Skybreaker, and an earth centaur girl called Lightdancer; and the two of them are brother and sister. It's a rather awkward, three-way relationship, which is still very new for all three centaurs to feel their way through, especially for the siblings who are struggling to overcome their jealousy as Windrunner has made it quite clear that she absolutely refuses to choose between them; she wants them both in her life. Neither of them is overly worried about being in a threeway relationship together, but they are still a bit worried Winni might eventually come to prefer one over the other. (Not gonna happen).
