The Royal Picnic

Recent commission from sugarnhoney for three of my favourite Disney Princesses enjoying a lovely picnic in the relaxing countryside. Because all three of these young ladies are very much country girls at heart, and much prefer racing through woods and fields than being cooped up in the Royal Court and having little to do besides looking pretty and waving.

Also this works well on another level as these three Princesses represent the three nations of Great Britain:
England (Princess Calla - The Adventures of the Gummi Bears)
Scotland (Princess Merida - Brave)
Wales (Princess Eilonwy - The Black Cauldron)

Yes, I know Merida is an official Disney Princess but Eilonwy and Calla are not - Eilonwy because her movie bombed in the cinemas and apparently nearly ruined the animation arm of Disney entirely, and Calla because she was a Princess in a TV series, not a Disney movie. Both poor excuses if you ask me (you didn't though did you? xD)
