Y'know, I've never actually WATCHED The Nightmare Before Christmas, but I hear it's really good...the only bit I've ever seen on Youtube is when he sings "What's this?" though I find the parody version "The Fuck?" to be way funnier (obvs). xD Anyway, enough random prattle, let's get down to an update of arts! There's not a whole lot to round up really, but I'll start with Miraculous-related pics: The ninth and tenth pieces so far in my series of Miraculous dual portraits were Sabrina and Chloe, drawn by the lovely @Taylaedraws. As with Marinette before, I decided to do a bit more than merely tweak their outfits - Chloe's family are well-off and she would want to appear as fashionable as possible, given (she thinks) she's friends with a top local fashion model. xD So I replaced her white slacks and ballet flats with a short skirt and some nice heels to show off her figure a little. It keeps getting warmer and drier, and then colder and wetter again. I wish autumn would just settle in already, I'm ready for the cooler damp weather to just be here! ^^ I've had a few new quite nice commissions since my last journal about a month ago, and some rather big news for my other account, @Power-and-Chaos. But let's deal with this gallery first, okay? Okay. ^^ Firstly there are these three! Isn't it winter yet?
Hey all, how are you holding up? It's been about what, 6 weeks since my last art roundup journal, and the temperatures in the UK have climbed continuously in that time. Today was 30°C - I think the first 30 day this year round my way - and I'm legitimately ready for winter to return already! Sorry to all those of you who love the summer and getting out and enjoying the sunny weather - but I don't! This body is built for cold weather, and the heat makes me feel physically unwell. Basically I'm gonna feel sick af from now until September probably, when the temperatures begin to dip back down closer to 20... Anyway, enough of my griping about the heat, how many arts have there been recently? Well let's get started... Actually there haven't been many, it's been a pretty lean month - I went and signed up for a correspondence degree, so I'm trying to save a bit of money to pay for that by next January. I saw the King's coronation on Saturday - it was, of course, absolutely magnificent. Well I mean technically, I saw it on Sunday...I had to go into the office on Saturday morning to finish off some work that absolutely couldn't wait until the office re-opens on Tuesday; what's even sadder is, I was one of FOUR in the office who had to do this! Still, at least we kept each other company as we each worked on our own tasks. xD Once again, I've left it months between art roundups (last one in late-January), so this'll be another big roundup journal for you all... Starting off with a batch of commissions from @aerodynamicT, these are what I've been calling "dual portraits" of Miraculous Ladybug characters; each showcases one of the Paris superheroines and their civilian identity side by side. ^^ So far, the first three have been Juleka/Purple Tigress, Rose/Pigella, and Alix/Bunnyx.
